Biography

Kris Ann Valdez is a desert-dwelling, adventure-loving Arizona native, wife, and mother. As an essayist, her work has been featured in Motherly, Motherhood Mag, For Women Who Roar, among others. Her novel-length work is represented by Allison Remcheck of Stimola Literary Agency. Kris Ann co-created The Writerlies and actively attends Pen-in-Hand and the Central Phoenix Writer Workshops. She is also a recipient of the 2023 Arizona Arts Research and Development Grant.
